As the holiday season approaches, it’s time to turn our gratitude into action. Join us this November for the “Day of Giving,” a high-impact community event held in partnership with the Hope Creek Charitable Foundation.
Our mission is simple: ensure that no family in our community goes without a warm meal or essential supplies this winter. Whether you are donating items or rolling up your sleeves to pack boxes, your contribution stays local and helps those who need it most.
To help you shop, here are the current priority items and their estimated local costs. Every bit helps!
1. Canned protein (tuna, chicken, salmon): $3.00 each
2. Canned soups & chili: $3.00
3. Canned beans (black beans, kidney beans): $2.00
4. Rice (white or brown) – 2–5 lb bags: $8.00
5. Granola/breakfast bars: $6.00
The Hope Creek Charitable Foundation serves hundreds of families every week. During the month of November, the demand for canned proteins and easy-to-eat snacks for children increases significantly. By participating in the Day of Giving, you are providing more than just food—you are providing peace of mind to a neighbor in need.
Student Volunteers: Please bring your school’s community service tracking form to the event to have it signed by a site coordinator upon completion of your shift.
